Cast Coin Phra Khun Phaen Thong Phon Small - Luang Pho Oon, Wat Talkong, Phetchaburi, B.E. 2549, Nuea Nava Loha
Description
This is a cast coin amulet of Phra Khun Phaen Thong Phon created by Luang Pho Oon Sukgahmo, a senior venerable monk of Phetchaburi Province, from Wat Talkong in Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi. It was created in B.E. 2549. The amulet is made of Nuea Nava Loha metal alloy and is a small cast piece designed for wearing on the person or hanging as a pendant for worship. Luang Pho Oon was a respected elder monk of Phetchaburi who created a wide variety of auspicious objects, including coins, cast Buddha images, powder amulets, and sacred items. Many of his auspicious creations were made during the final period of his life across multiple occasions. This Buddha image follows the form of Phra Khun Phaen Thong Phon in a small reduced size. It is cast in metal, which distinguishes it from the common powder amulet or hollow versions of Phra Khun Phaen typically found. It is therefore popularly known as the "Small Cast Metal Coin Phra Khun Phaen Thong Phon."
