Gecko with curved tail, bronze material, Maha Parathana edition Luang Pu Hong, B.E. 2548, beautiful original condition with certificate of authenticity. The story of the curved-tail gecko: one day the robe of a venerable monk became wet and slipped down horizontally. A curved-tail gecko of size equal to current metal appeared and crawled out not fleeing from people but approaching people. Thus the shape and image of the curved-tail gecko was presented to Luang Pu for consideration. Luang Pu smiled and said, "This is a deity that manifested in this form, it is something strange and unusual compared to ordinary geckos." After that Luang Pu inscribed sacred syllables in the gecko form on paper, both on the back and under the belly of the curved-tail gecko, while saying, "These are great compassion, good commerce, wherever going people have compassion and affection, wherever going tell and people will know and see by themselves how good it is." Because Luang Pu upheld precepts, he was unable to elaborate the subtle details, only saying that it is compassion.
