Description
This Isuan Eye amulet (Duang Ta Ishvara) in powder takrut form is a sacred object created by Ajarn Plian, a layman practitioner and keeper of the Buddhist Occult lineage of the Khao Oi tradition in Phatthalung Province. This tradition represents one of the most celebrated ancient schools of Southern Thailand with a continuous history of knowledge transmission spanning several centuries. The Khao Oi tradition has its roots in the Ayutthaya period and is renowned for its expertise in Vedic Buddhist studies, numerology and yantra science, sacred syllable inscription, and the creation of sacred objects. The tradition encompasses both ordained monks and lay practitioners who have received continuous transmission of these teachings, and is recognized as one of the most important Buddhist Occult lineages in Thailand.
