Luang Pho Pan Riding Elephant Amulet B.E. 2511 Blessed by Luang Pu Rishi Ling Dam

Description

This Loo Pim (amulet wheel) of Luang Pho Pan was created in B.E. 2511 by Wat Tha Sung in Uthai Thani Province under the direction of Luang Pu Rishi Ling Dam (Phra Rajphromyaan). It was made to commemorate Luang Pho Pan Sonananto of Wat Bang Nom Ko in Ayutthaya Province, the master teacher and founder of the lineage. Luang Pu Rishi Ling Dam (B.E. 2460–2535) was a direct disciple who inherited the teachings and practices of Luang Pho Pan. He placed great importance on preserving Luang Pho Pan's amulet designs and created multiple amulet wheels while maintaining the original form, allowing devotees to remember the virtues of their master teacher. The amulet features the Riding Elephant design, one of Luang Pho Pan's famous blessed animal amulets. The back is filled with Buddhist Merit Powder (Ung Phong Putthagun), which is the distinctive characteristic of this amulet series. The powder inside was used in the creation process before undergoing a blessing ceremony by Luang Pu Rishi Ling Dam.
