Luk Kaew Saraphat Nueang is one of the famous auspicious objects from Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam, also known as Phra Ratchaphromyan (Veera Thawaro), of Wat Chantaram (Wat Ta Sung) in Uthai Thani Province. This venerable master played an important role in spreading Buddhism in modern times and is deeply respected by Buddhists throughout Thailand. Wat Ta Sung is an ancient temple on the banks of the Sakeang Krang River with a history spanning centuries. However, it experienced remarkable development during the time of Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam, becoming one of Thailand's most visited temples for meditation practice and worship. The temple contains several important religious structures, including a 100-meter crystal viharn, a golden chedi, and various beautifully decorated mondops. Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam was a devoted practitioner and influential Dhamma teacher with numerous accomplishments in Buddhist literature, teaching meditation disciplines, and developing the temple into a center for Buddhist studies. He passed away in B.E. 2535, yet continues to be deeply revered by his disciples.
