Nang Kwak powder amulet by Luang Pu Boon from Wat Sarawhan in Amphoe Mai Kaen, Pattani Province, created around B.E. 2500. This is a powder amulet documented as being mixed with Bang Khun Phrom powder, a material that was commonly used as an ingredient in the creation of amulets and sacred objects by many esteemed monks during that period. Luang Pu Boon was a venerable monk and teacher at Wat Sarawhan who dedicated himself to religious practice and the development of the temple in Pattani Province. His sacred objects included both powder amulets and talismans, which were primarily created for distribution to those who participated in merit-making and supported the temple's activities. Wat Sarawhan is located in Amphoe Mai Kaen, Pattani Province, and has played an important role in the Buddhist community in the southern border region for a long time.
