Phra Khun Phaen Phrai Diao by Luang Pu Tim, Wat Phra Khao, Ayutthaya B.E. 2551, Wan Powder
Description
Luang Pu Tim Attatsanto (B.E. 2465–2553) was the former abbot of Wat Phra Khao, Bang Bal District, Ayutthaya Province. He was a highly respected Buddhist master who played an important role in the development of the temple and charitable works. He also created many amulets in various editions to raise funds for temple development and aid the poor. The Phra Khun Phaen Phrai Diao amulet of B.E. 2551 was designed following the ancient form of Phra Khun Phaen. The amulet was crafted from wan powder mixed with sacred materials according to the casting methods of Wat Phra Khao. The name "Phrai Diao" is an edition name designated by the creator to distinguish it from other Phra Khun Phaen editions by Luang Pu Tim that were created in a similar period. Each edition has different details in design, composition, and materials.
