Phra Kring Thammajaak amulet with Nuea Nava Loha material, created in B.E. 2525 by Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahavihara (Wat Yai) in Phitsanulok Province. The amulet was created to serve as a commemorative item and to generate funds for temple restoration and maintenance. The amulet was accompanied by a grand Buddhist consecration ceremony held at Phra Vihara Phra Phuttha Chinaraj. Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat Woramahavihara, known locally as Wat Yai, is a first-class royal temple presumed to have been constructed during the Sukhothai period. It houses Phra Phuttha Chinaraj, an important Buddha image revered as one of the most beautiful Buddha images in Thailand. For many centuries, this temple has served as the center of Buddhism and history in Phitsanulok.
