Phra Luang Ta Maa Over Brahma Amulet with Plastic Bead Rosary from Wat Tham Mueang Na, Lampang
Description
The Phra Nuer Prom amulet was created by Luang Ta Maa (Phra Ajarn Vorangkot Viriyathiro) of Wat Tham Mueang Na, Amphoe Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai Province, together with matching plastic prayer beads created during the same period. These sacred objects were produced for Buddhists to worship and use in their prayer practice. Luang Ta Maa is a Kammatthana master who was a student of Luang Pu Du of Wat Sakaew and received the transmission of meditation practice from Luang Ta Maha Boowa Ñanasampanno. He is well known for teaching mindfulness development and meditation through the practice of 'Buddho' recitation, combined with the dedication of merit to all beings. Wat Tham Mueang Na is located at the foot of Doi Luang in Chiang Dao, Chiang Mai Province. It is a meditation practice monastery with a peaceful atmosphere, suitable for developing concentration, and serves as a spiritual center for practitioners from across the country. Most of Luang Ta Maa's amulets are created to serve as reminders of merit-making.
