Description
Phra Pit Ta Gim Chod in Wan powder, created in B.E. 2536 by Luang Pu Kham Phan Ghotpanyo, abbot of Wat That Maha Chai, Nakhon Phanom Province. A highly revered teacher of the Northeast. Wat That Maha Chai is an important temple of Nakhon Phanom Province, with the Great Relic Stupa as its principal sacred site and the center of religious activities for the community for a long time. Under the care of Luang Pu Kham Phan, the temple has been continuously restored and developed and became widely known. The Phra Pit Ta Gim Chod from B.E. 2536 is thus another auspicious object reflecting the creation tradition of Luang Pu Kham Phan and the history of Wat That Maha Chai in the late 25th Buddhist century.
