Description
Phra Sangwor Anuong Thera (Chum), Pim Sum Kor, was created in B.E. 2460 at Wat Plab, Thonburi. This is an ancient powder amulet associated with an important abbot of Wat Plab during the early Rattanakosin period. The amulet is one of the designs influenced by the art style of the famous Phra Sum Kor of Kamphaeng Phet. Wat Plab is considered an ancient temple of great significance in Thai amulet history. Originally built during the Ayutthaya period, it was continuously restored during the Thonburi and Rattanakosin periods. The temple is renowned as the birthplace of "Phra Somdej Wat Plab."
