Phra Somdej 100 Years Wat Ratchabang B.E. 2515 Small Portrait Powder Amulet Rare Mold

Description

Phra Somdej 100 Years Wat Ratchabang Khoositaram was created in B.E. 2515 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Somdej Phra Putthacharn (To Prommarangsee), honoring the great master's contributions to Buddhism and to raise funds for the restoration of Wat Ratchabang Khoositaram in Bangkok. The Buddhist consecration ceremony was held with great grandeur at Wat Ratchabang, inviting renowned masters from across the kingdom to participate in the blessing ritual, including Luang Pu To of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, Luang Pho Ngern of Wat Don Yai Hom, Luang Pho Pae of Wat Pikultong, Luang Pho Kuay of Wat Khoositaram, Luang Pho Thiem of Wat Ksattrathirat, and many other venerated monks. The ceremony was recognized as one of the grandest consecrations of that era. The Phra Somdej 100 Years was created in multiple molds, including Somdej molds, portrait molds, and various special molds. The small portrait mold is a compact size with a portrait image of Somdej Phra Putthacharn on the obverse. The amulet is made of powder material.
