Description

Phra Somdej Kaiser Type, Tul Kratao Edition, Jumbo Imprint, created in B.E. 2529 by Wat Arun Rajavaravihara Royal Monastery in Bangkok. This amulet was commissioned to honor and pay homage as royal merit-making on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej (9th Reign), which is the origin of its name "Tul Kratao Edition." Wat Arun Rajavaravihara is a first-class Royal Monastery of the highest rank with a long history dating back to the Ayutthaya period. Originally named "Wat Makkok," it was later restored during the Thonburi period and established as an important Royal Monastery during the Rattanakosin era. Today it is one of Thailand's most significant temples and a historical symbol of the nation. This Phra Somdej was designed in Kaiser Type imprint, inspired by the renowned Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang Kaiser Imprint, one of the most famous Phra Somdej designs. This edition was produced in multiple sizes. The Jumbo Imprint features a larger size compared to the standard imprint, making it more distinctive.
