Description

Luang Pu Chum Chai Khiri was a lay devotee holding an important role in the sacred object tradition of Southern Thailand. He possessed knowledge in ritual practices, sacred syllables, and the gathering of ceremonial materials. He was also involved in the creation and Buddhist consecration ceremonies of numerous sacred objects during the mid-25th Buddhist century. The term 'Thep Nimit powder' is found used to describe the materials in sacred objects from the Luang Pu Chum lineage in many items. For this edition, the powder was mixed with clay before being pressed into the mold, allowing each amulet to display unique characteristics in texture and surface appearance.
