Phra Somdej Wan Luang Pho Koon Wat Ban Rai Wat Raware B.E. 2524
Description
Phra Somdej Wan amulet of the Wat Raware edition, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, created in B.E. 2524 through the compassionate blessing and aspiration of Luang Pho Koon Prisuttho of Wat Ban Rai, a most revered and highly respected learned master monk of Thailand during that era. The amulet is fashioned in the form of Phra Somdej, made from wan (powder) composition mixed with sacred materials according to the methods of Eastern Region powder amulet creation during the late 2520s decade, emphasizing simplicity, durability, and suitability for portable worship. Wat Raware is an ancient temple in Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, which has held an important role in the local community for a long time. Although not a large-scale temple, it has served as the center of Buddhist activities for local residents and has periodically created auspicious objects to generate revenue for temple development and public benefit.
