Phra Upakut Bua Khem by Luang Pho Uttamo, Wat Khung Tamnak, Phetchaburi, B.E. 2522
Description
This Buddha amulet was consecrated in a major Buddhist blessing ceremony presided over by revered masters at Wat Suthat Thepwararam, including Luang Pu Toh of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, Luang Pho Uttamo of Wat Wang Vivekaram, Luang Pho Thir of Wat Pa Lelai, Luang Pho Ia of Wat Ban Dan, Luang Pu Thong Yu of Wat Mai Nong Phaong, Luang Pho Sud of Wat Kalong, Luang Pho Thiang of Wat Muang Chum, Luang Pho Neuang of Wat Chulamon, Phra Nikrodhdhammadada of Wat Kahai, Malaysia, disciple of Luang Pho Kron of Wat Bang Sae, and others. Luang Pho Uttamo subsequently performed individual consecration according to authentic Mon ritual at Wat Wang Vivekaram, Kanchanaburi, throughout the Rains Retreat of B.E. 2522, then enshrined at Wat Khung Tamnak to support the construction of a supplementary ordination hall. The creation of the Phra Upakut follows genuine Mon tradition. When cast on the night of the full moon Buddha day, it will emerge blessed according to the beliefs of Mon, Burmese, and Northern peoples. Possesses great power and grants good fortune and prosperity to worshippers.
