Somdej Prok Bodhi coin, first edition, copper material, created in B.E. 2531 by Luang Pho Klan of Wat Khao Oi, Phatthalung Province. This is the first coin created in his name, using the image of Somdej seated beneath the Bodhi tree as its model. Wat Khao Oi is an ancient Buddhist monastery with a history spanning many centuries and serves as a center for Buddhist studies and scholarship of the southern region. Luang Pho Klan is a venerable teacher who carries on the tradition of the Khao Oi monastery.
