Turtle amulet coin commemorating the 84th birthday anniversary, created in B.E. 2535 to mark the milestone of Luang Pu Liu Panno of Wat Rai Taeng Thong, Nakhon Pathom Province. This revered master was famous for creating sacred turtle amulets, which became a distinctive hallmark of the Luang Pu Liu lineage. This 84th birthday commemorative amulet was blessed through Buddhist ritual ceremony by Luang Pu Liu at Wat Rai Taeng Thong and was produced in multiple materials and designs. The holy water-soaked version has been immersed in sacred mantra water following the consecration ritual, according to the temple's traditional practice, and was given to those who participated in the merit-making ceremony. Luang Pu Liu (B.E. 2451–2543) was the former abbot of Wat Rai Taeng Thong who played a significant role in developing the temple and popularizing the turtle amulet design. The turtle amulets he created span many editions and occasions, each with distinct construction details, making them important subjects of study for amulet collectors.
