Wat Chang Hai Rasotkburam is an ancient temple of Pattani Province, established during the Ayutthaya period, and is connected to the legend of Luang Pu Tuat walking on freshwater. It has been recognized as one of the most important centers for creating sacred objects in the Luang Pu Tuat tradition in Thailand. Luang Pu Tham (B.E. 2455–2512) was a former abbot who played an important role in restoring the temple and propagating the merits of Luang Pu Tuat. Sacred objects created during his era, whether Luang Pu Tuat Buddha images, coins, or yantra cloths, are highly revered.
