The Luang Pho Khao coin from Wat Khian, Ayutthaya Province, was created as a commemorative amulet and to allow devotees to participate in merit-making for the restoration and renovation of Wat Khian, an ancient temple with a long history. The temple enshrines the Luang Pho Khao Buddha image, a sacred and revered statue deeply respected by the people of Ayutthaya. The creation ceremony received the compassion of Luang Pu Du Promphanya of Wat Sakaek, a highly accomplished and virtuous monk who participated in the consecration blessing according to ancient tradition. The coin's design beautifully depicts the Buddha image of Luang Pho Khao and is imbued with sincere faith and pure intention, dedicated to the preservation of Buddhism and the temple's sacred purpose.
