Luang Pu Mao Wat Si Liam Maha Niyom B.E. 2518 Copper Amulet
Description
The Luang Pu Mao Maha Niyom copper amulet was created in B.E. 2518 as a memorial and tribute to the virtues of Luang Pu Mao, a renowned and respected master monk of Wat Si Liam in Buriram Province, deeply revered by the people of Isan for many years. Luang Pu Mao was a venerable elder who gained fame for his strict adherence to Buddhist discipline and monastic practice. He was honored as one of the most important master monks of Buriram Province during the early Buddhist Era 25, and his students traveled from all regions to receive his blessings. Wat Si Liam is an ancient temple of Prakon Chai District in Buriram Province, situated in an area rich with historical and cultural heritage dating back to the ancient Khmer period. The communities surrounding the temple have maintained a strong connection to Buddhism, making it a spiritual center for local residents throughout many generations. Over the past several decades, Wat Si Liam has played a significant role in the propagation of Buddhism and the study of Buddhist scripture.
