Nang Kwak Powder Amulet, Ajarn Chuea, Wat Saphan Sung, Bangkok, 2505

Description

Nang Kwak powder amulet with yantra stamp on reverse by Ajarn Chuea of Wat Saphan Sung, created in 2505. Created with materials reported to include old powder from Bunkhumphrom mixed with old powder from Wat Suthat Thepwararam associated with Buddha image creation during the era of Somdej Phra Sangkharat (Pae) and important monks of Wat Suthat during that period. After creation, consecration ceremony was performed at occasions by Wat Rakhang Kositaram and Wat Suthat Thepwararam, which were important temples related to the powder amulet material lineage and rituals of that era.
