Wat Sangkhot is an ancient temple in Suphan Buri Province with deep historical and spiritual ties to the local community, serving roles in religious practice, ritual ceremonies, and as a gathering place for residents. The temple gained recognition in amulet circles through Luang Pho Khruean, a revered monk who resided there. He created numerous sacred objects of various types, including earthen amulets, powder amulets, pressed Phra Khun Phaen designs, and various talismans. Luang Pho Khruean's sacred objects reflect the style characteristic of Suphan Buri amulets, particularly the Phra Khun Phaen and earthen amulet designs that appear in the lineage of many respected monks from this province. During the mid-25th Buddhist century, Wat Sangkhot held significance not only as a community temple but also as a source of sacred objects directly connected to Luang Pho Khruean's name and blessing.
