Phra Lor Pim Luang Pho Pan Riding Hanuman B.E. 2511 Blessed Powder Amulet

Description

Phra Lor Pim Luang Pho Pan, Riding Hanuman design, was created in B.E. 2511 by Wat Tha Sung, Uthai Thani Province, under the direction of Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam (Phra Ratchaphromyan) as a tribute to Luang Pho Pan Sanantos of Wat Bang Nom Ko, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, the master teacher and founder of his lineage. Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam (B.E. 2460–2535) was a disciple who inherited and continued the practice and teachings of Luang Pho Pan. He placed great importance on preserving the amulet designs of Luang Pho Pan and thus created multiple Phra Lor Pim, maintaining their original form so that Buddhists could remember their teacher's virtues. The amulet features the Riding Hanuman design, one of Luang Pho Pan's most renowned auspicious animal motifs. The back is filled with blessed powder (Udt Pong Phutthagun), a distinctive characteristic of this Phra Lor Pim series. The interior contains the blessed powder used in its creation, before undergoing a blessing ceremony by Luang Pho Ruesi Ling Dam.
