A powder amulet (Phra Phong) of merit created in B.E. 2528 by Luang Pho Thaan Muay of Wat Pah Rakam Nuea, Nakhon Si Thammarat, as a commemorative gift for those who made merit and contributed to the temple's development. It is among the significant powder amulets created during the venerable monk's active ministry and is deeply respected by Buddhists in Southern Thailand. Luang Pho Thaan Muay was a respected Buddhist scholar and preceptor from Nakhon Si Thammarat who played an important role in developing Wat Pah Rakam Nuea and spreading Buddhism. Most auspicious objects he created were intended to generate income for the restoration of the temple buildings and support the temple's charitable activities. The B.E. 2528 commemorative powder amulet is made from blessed powder material. The front features an image of Buddha in a simple architectural niche, while the back is stamped with characters or details characteristic of amulets produced during that period. Multiple prints and variations of this amulet were created and distributed to those who participated in various merit-making occasions.
