Phra Phong Pim U-Thong Wat Khao Yai Jaturapit Phon Chai B.E. 2518
Description
The Phra Phong Pim U-Thong Wat Khao Yai from the celebrated B.E. 2518 (1975) Jaturapit Phon Chai ceremony is widely recognized as one of the most spiritually powerful powder amulets of the late 20th century. Initiated by Master Rian Numdee, former Warden of Ayutthaya Central Prison, the amulet series was consecrated to raise funds for the construction of the Jaturapit Phon Chai Vihara at Wat Khao Yai, Doem Bang Nang Buat, Suphanburi Province. Master Rian sought the spiritual counsel of Luang Pu Doo Brahmapanyo of Wat Sakae, who graciously oversaw the sacred design based on classic Thai art periods (Chiang Saen, Sukhothai, and U-Thong). Luang Pu Doo bestowed his extraordinary solo meditation blessing upon this entire batch for one full month, infusing each piece with pure Metta and the protective power of the Maha Chakraphat mantra. Following the solo empowerment, a grand historic consecration ceremony (Maha Phutthaphisek) took place at Wat Rattanachai in Ayutthaya in 1975. The ceremony gathered the greatest living masters of Siam, including Luang Pu Doo of Wat Sakae, Luang Pho Kuay of Wat Kositaram, Luang Pu Toh of Wat Pradu Chimphli, Luang Pu Si of Wat Khao Tham Bunnak, and Luang Pho Pae of Wat Pikul Thong. The U-Thong mold features the classic fortified meditation posture of the Lopburi/U-Thong era, symbolizing unyielding fortitude, authority, victory over life obstacles, and solid financial security. In authentic, uncleaned vintage condition, this amulet represents a museum-grade collector's piece with guaranteed authenticity.
