Phra Sangkachai clay amulet of Luang Pu Phoon from Wat Mai Pin Kliao, Nakhon Pathom province, created around B.E. 2490 according to the old clay amulet style of the Central Thai lineage of Buddhist masters, which was popularly made with Buddhist substance following ancient formulae. The amulet features the Phra Sangkachai image, an arahant of abundance and auspiciousness, which has been venerated for a long time, especially for fortune, compassion, and well-being. This batch was made with clay amulet material according to the pre-B.E. 2500 style, which is characterized by content and traditional pressing technique of the old powder and clay amulet lineage.
