Description
Bia Kaae Pluay amulet by Luang Pu Kong from Wat Klang Bang Kaew, created in B.E. 2568. This piece is medium-sized and comes in 'pluay' form, meaning the bead structure is left exposed to view on the outside, without rope wrapping the entire amulet as in some other types of Bia Kaae designs. Wat Klang Bang Kaew in Nakhon Pathom Province is a temple with a long-established history of creating Bia Kaae amulets. The documented lineage begins with Luang Pu Bun Khantachoti, then passed on to Luang Pu Perm Punyavaso and subsequent monks of the temple. Bia Kaae is therefore considered an important protective amulet directly associated with the name and tradition of Wat Klang Bang Kaew.
