Phra Kring First Edition by Luang Pho Eiad, Wat Phai Lom, Ayutthaya, B.E. 2539
Description
The Phra Kring, First Edition, was created in B.E. 2539 by Luang Pho Eiad Inthavannavong (Phra Kru Sunthorthamniwit), former abbot of Wat Phai Lom, Bang Baan District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This revered master was highly skilled in Buddhist scholarship and deeply respected by the people of the ancient city. The amulet's body is crafted from an alloy of mixed metals incorporating auspicious ingredients according to the Ayutthaya formula. The Phra Kring design is elegant, refined, and well-proportioned, with clear identifying marks stamped to prevent confusion. It underwent a major gold-pouring ceremony and Buddhist consecration conducted according to ancient traditional standards at Wat Phai Lom, a historic temple with roots deep in the Bang Baan community. Luang Pho Eiad performed a powerful and pure-hearted meditation blessing, imbuing it with Buddhist virtues. The amulet was created with pure intentions to support the restoration and repair of the temple's deteriorating buildings and structures. It is recognized as the first edition Phra Kring with clear creation history, noble intention, and high collector value.
