Phra Sangkachai powder amulet with gold coating was created in B.E. 2551 by Luang Pho Prasit Punnyamahakro of Wat Pa Moo Mai, Amphoe Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai Province. The amulets were produced in a limited set of 499 pieces. Wat Pa Moo Mai is located in Amphoe Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai Province, and is a forest temple tradition that emphasizes vipassana meditation practice following the teachings of Phra Ajahn Man Phurithatto.
