Chao Maha Brahm Coin, Brahm Shrine Huay Kwang, B.E. 2519, Luang Pu Toh Wat Pradoo Chimplee
Description
The Chao Maha Brahm coin was created in B.E. 2519 by the Brahm Shrine Huay Kwang, Bangkok, as a commemoration and to propagate Buddhist teachings. The creation received the compassionate blessing of Luang Pu Toh Inthasuwan of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, who participated in the Buddhist consecration ceremony. The Brahm Shrine Huay Kwang is a renowned sacred place in Bangkok, established during the 2510s decade, and serves as a center gathering the faith of people who continuously visit to pay respects to Chao Maha Brahm. Auspicious objects created by the Brahm Shrine Huay Kwang in the early era were produced in multiple occasions, inviting renowned master monks of each era to participate in the blessing ceremony. Luang Pu Toh Inthasuwan (B.E. 2430–2524) was the former abbot of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, Prasat Charoen District, Bangkok, and a venerable Buddhist monk respected by Buddhists throughout the country. He played an important role in temple development, the propagation of Buddhism, and the creation of many auspicious objects with respected histories.
