Description
Phra Chiang Saen coin in copper, created in B.E. 2519 with the gracious blessing of Luang Pu Si (Sih) Inthacho, a senior monk of Wat Sakaek in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Luang Pu Si (Sih) Inthacho was a virtuous elder of Wat Sakaek and a venerable teacher who shared a close bond with Luang Pu Du Prommapanyo throughout their years of monastic practice together. His simple way of life, strict adherence to the Dhamma and Vinaya, and focus on spiritual practice earned him great respect from his disciples and the Buddhist community. This amulet series uses the Chiang Saen Buddha image as the design template. It features distinctive artistic characteristics such as the serene and radiant Buddha countenance, luminous halo, and refined Buddhist proportions in the Lanna artistic style, which inspired the name "Phra Chiang Saen Coin."
