Description
Phra Sangkatchai Wan amulet by Luang Pho Poon of Wat Mai Pin Kliao, Nakhon Pathom Province, created approximately B.E. 2490. This follows the traditional style of old wan-based amulets from central Thailand masters, crafted using sacred materials according to ancient Buddhist formulas. The amulet features the image of Phra Sangkatchai, the Arhat of abundance and auspiciousness, long revered for blessings especially in luck, compassion, and peaceful happiness. This edition is made of wan material in the pre-B.E. 2500 style, characterized by distinctive content and traditional pressing methods typical of old powder and wan amulets from the central Thai monastic tradition. It reflects the auspicious object-making practices of accomplished monks in Nakhon Pathom Province during the early post-war period. Luang Pho Poon of Wat Mai Pin Kliao was a highly respected spiritual master in Nakhon Pathom Province, and his blessed objects continue to hold significant esteem.
