Rian Luang Pho Chaem Wat Chalong Phuket B.E. 2515 Blackened Copper
Description
Luang Pho Chaem of Wat Chalong (Phra Khru Wisutthiwongsachan) is reverently celebrated as the patron saint and spiritual guardian of Phuket Island. This authentic copper medallion (Rian), finished with dark blackened patination (Rom Dam), was consecrated in B.E. 2515 (1972) at Wat Chalong in a formal grand Buddhist ceremony celebrating the eternal legacy of the great master. Historically, Luang Pho Chaem earned legendary renown during the 1876 Ang Yi Chinese miner rebellions in Phuket, when he tied blessed sacred cloth charms (Pha Prachiat) around the arms of local villagers, empowering them to defend their communities with courage and miraculous resilience. Ever since, images of Luang Pho Chaem carrying his walking staff have been worshipped as symbols of invincible courage, triumph over adversity, and supreme spiritual authority. The front of this medallion features a crisp bust portrait of Luang Pho Chaem holding his famous walking stick, surrounded by classical Thai scrollwork. The reverse displays the sacred Yant of Wat Chalong with official commemorative Thai typography. This amulet is sought after by travelers, civil servants, and business executives for its power to bestow Maha Amnaj (commanding authority), Kong Grapan (invulnerability), and victory against competing forces. In pristine condition with original black patina.
